 Biography of Michael WeatherlyWeatherly was born into a wealthy family with billionaire father (Michael Manning Weatherly Sr) and health director mother (Patricia). Both his parents had been married twice, prior to settling down together and having Michael. His family made their money through Swiss Army Knife imports. He was born in New York but raised in Fairfield, CT. His passion for music and theatre was discovered at an early age. He attended private schools for the wealthy. He went to university in Boston, Washington and later attended the American University of Paris, in Paris (France). Although he attended these colleges at his father's behest, he finally made up his mind to drop out and become an actor. His family were unhappy with the decision and he was cut off from his inheritance.
Michael first appeared on The Cosby Show where he played Theo's room-mate. Later he moved to LA and signed contracts with Fox and appeared on shows like: Ally McBeal, The Crow, Charmed and Jesse. In 1995 he married Amelia Heinle whom he met on the set of Loving. They had a son (August Manning Weatherly) in 1996, and in 1997 they were divorced. In year 2000 he starred as Logan Cale on Dark Angel where he met and became engaged to Jessica Alba, with whom he split in 2003. In 2003 the CBS spinoff from JAG, namely NCIS aired around the world. Weatherly plays the wealthy Italian born Senior Special Agent Anthony 'Tony' DiNozzo. Some of his character's background coincide with his own, i.e. being born wealthy and disinherited. The show is a success and he continues playing Tony DiNozzo. At the 2009 NCIS FanFest in California he confirmed his marriage to Serbian-Canadian oncologistdoctor Bojana Jankovic in September of that year. He and his wife have a femaletwo German Shepherdhepherds a ***** called Oriana.riana and a male called Quantum.
