ADAM: Ziva gets her claws into Wendy pretty quickly, perhaps looking for dirt on Tony. "Ziva is fascinated by Wendy because of the history, and Tony is mortified by the idea of leaving them alone," executive producer Gary Glasberg says, adding that both Tony and Wendy still have feelings for each other. But don't look for Wendy's visit to completely deflate this season's Tiva tension. "By the end of this season, they're both going to have a better understanding of what they want from the future," Glasberg says.

Ausiello: The arrival of Tony’s ex-fiancée, Wendy (played by Entourage‘s Perrey Reeves), “comes out of left field for him,” previews NCIS EP Gary Glasberg, adding that the reunion takes place in the Feb. 14 episode written by co-executive producer Steve Binder. As for nitpicking that Wendy was long ago established to be a music teacher versus a journalist, Glasberg says, “Steve speaks to that in the script — she decided that she wanted more out of life, so she took on a journalism job. She wants to write for TVLine!” That would explain the letter I got yesterday from CBS asking for permission to mention TVLine in an episode! Amazing! If only it were true. Sigh…

"I am not looking forward to the appearance of Wendy at all. I'm having a hard time with the fact that she has never been mentioned before and now she is mentioned all the time. I can't reconcile the fact that Tony is such a private person.... and now after 9 years they all know about Wendy. It's just like how they messed up the ROTA plot line where Tony specifically asked Jenny to not say anything and yet last year everyone knew."

"I wish I could look forward to it, but after Housekeeping, I'm pretty sure the whole Wendy storyline will be little more than a vehicle for pushing Tiva: ("Oh, look, Tony committed to Wendy, so he must be good enough for Ziva." ) Frankly, I imagine Ziva as having more commitment issues and relationship issues than Tony. I hate that they've taken a great character (Tony) and turned him into a caricature that is used only to reflect the "greatness" of other characters..."

"I know. There's no way Tony would have just casually told McGee and Ziva that he had turned down Rota. He didn't even want Jenny to tell Gibbs; there's no way he'd tell McGee and Ziva, who were both so disrespectful during that time that I can't imagine he would have shared that with them."

This should be Tony's episode period. I just hope they do not screw up another Tony's episode as they did with ''Housekeeping'' where they gave us EJ and Ziva suddenly close friends that team up on mocking Tony and talk about their future projects.
Did writers forget that Ziva couldn't stand EJ and that none of Gibbs' team (except Tony) respected EJ and her role as team leader?

Sometimes I wonder what writers think when they write an episode... but I guess I shouldn't be surprised since the author of ''Housekeeping'' is a SB's pupil *sigh*"

"This is not a bad idea.Alternate universe.It would be nice and logical to see what if Tony had accepted Rota? What if he had married Wendy?But I'm not interested in another Shannon/Kelly story plus 200 guest stars. "
